Ok all I took some video today. Keep in mind the sound quality will vary with systems you are running. When you get to the page right click on the links and save target as...

Hope this helps you all out.

Thanks! Probibly one of the better sounding exhausts I've heard on the GP. What setup are you running with the flows?

*slightly off topic*
Does anyone have any videos or soundclips of the borla system on the GP? I've heard the loudmouth and dynomax, but can't find any decent borla ones anywhere.

My exhaust is stock (including the U bend)all the way to the mufflers then I used a pair of flowmaster 40 series muffs with stock tips. I finally found a guy that will do my U bend delete so I think I'll take it to him in the next week or two.

How much were the muffs? BTW Digi u have any videos on the loudmouth or dynomax? If not hows the sound of the dynomax? 300 bucks less for the system is looking pretty good.

I picked mine up from here.

I just can't remember if they are 2.5 or 2.25. But you need the offset in center out muffs.

Exhaust tips can really effect the tone of your exhaust. This is how stock exhaust sounds without tips.
http://www.kanco.com/gp/00gtp/misc/exhaust.wmv

Wish I could help you InitialDGP. I forgot the site where I got the videos from. I found it by accident. They had a whole bunch of sound clips and videos of different exhaust setups on the GP. Maybe someone else knows what I'm talking about. I'm going to keep searching to see if I can come up with it again.

By the way, and COMPLETELY off subject just to warn you. Whats the best web-cam that you can take outside then plug back into a desktop pc for under 100 bucks? Id like to make some videos and take pics etc but definately not buying a racecam or anything expensive.

Topsham is about 30 miles north of Portland. I haven't been to the sporting club. I love the area but the only problem is it's to far from home for the wife and kids. Home for us is Northern California. I have about 8 months left here then hopefully I'll get to southern Cali. I've only been sledding once and enjoyed the heck out of it.

Well it was either $25 a year for numbered plates or 40 a year for vanity. I think the extra $15 is well worth it.

Just to clarify, the 2001 GT has a 2.50in In and Out on the connecting points for the mufflers so I wont need to weld anything right?

Inlets are smaller on the GPs you'll need reducers to mount the muffs. Unfortunately no aftermarket muffler company makes inlets small enough. I used reducers and clamps till I was able to get it welded. Worked with no problems.

Thats what I was afraid of, its 2.25 right? O well. Im trying to decide whether im going to get the 2.25 mufflers and weld the 2.50 SLP tips onto the muffler so I can clamp the muffler end, or get the 2.50 and weld the mufflers on to the inlet so I can get the tips on without welding. I want the bigger in/out though so im probly going with the latter. My main issue was is there any dangers of welding the muffler on, then when I upgrade my exhaust piping having to break the weld and rewelding it onto the new pipe?

Furthermore is there any dangers of using the 2.50 muffler/tips when my exhaust piping is smaller?
