My Air Dam popped off today. I scraped a curb... it wasnt that hard and it stayed on all the way home. I got back into the car to go back for a few more classes and the dam fell off scrapping under the car. The spring that was holdign it in was stretched out, and it looks like there was only one spring on there, the left side had nothing connecting it. Is there something better to attatch it with?

The dealerships here in Austin don't even show the springs on their computer. They have bolts that have taken the place of the springs.
I prefer the springs. With the bolts you don't get that flex you would get with the springs.

Mine fell off too.

That is, if you are talking about what I think you are.

I put this baby on.

Go there, and under products for 97-03 GP's, it has the factory air dam replacement.

10x better quality. Just a slight pita to install. It fits, but it doesn't look like it.

I think this is the item he is referring to:

Factory Air Dam replacement panel for 1997-1998 Grand Prix GTs and GTPs

CSFAD is the part number.

I bought my car without the air dam. Haven't had any problems with my car running hot or anything though.
