i have a 97 gtp and i have access to a 3.8 from a grand national, i dont know if thsi will work easily for me to swap. im curious about the electrical issues that may arise, if the mounts line up, etc....
imput from more experienced people is greatly appreciated. thanks everyone

oh, the motor is a performance build with 10.5:1 compression, will this be an issue with my sc?

I'm inclined to say that it will not work. 10.5:1 is awfully high compression for running boost on top of it. Even with my top swap (9.4:1 compression) I had to mod fairly extensively on top of that to ensure there was no knock.

That's just my .02, could be completely off. Also, might help to know what year the car was from?

I dont think the engine will work at all since the GN engine is a rwd setup...IIRC the block and mounts for fwd are completely different. The internals may swap if you wanted to transfer them into your existing L67.

This swap will not work sorry just to many issues to deal with to make it a practical application.Chico.

Some internals will be different too, a GN is a Series I.
