along with my question on Gabriel struts and how they are, I found two stores that sell suspension springs and their prices differ by almost 100%. What makes springs expensive or cheep. Sits not like a strut and I know nothing about types of normal springs ( not lowering ones ). Any thoughts?

I don't have manufacturer's names as these come from parts stores. I am going to do mods on my suspension, however at this stage I am doing all the reserach possible in order to weigh importing parts from US or buying them here. I found Napa springs for half the price of Bumper to Bumper and was wondering about criteria for such a difference.
Herc, I found that based on struts the difference between medium and cheap is not that great. Only until one goes to high performace does the diff matter (Gabriels and Monroes are pretty much the same inside, whereas Koni's are a step higher in how they alleviate pressure build up).
If you have any sites I can read up on springs I would highly appreciate that.

Iirc Gabriel and Monroe are the same just different labeling.

For struts I'd recommend KYBs. For springs any name brand will do fine.
