Hi there I took my car to Tire Discounters and they said both my rear wheel bearings were shot.... I figured they were due to the roaring noise but I though it might be the front not the back... Any way I bought the parts and had everything apart tonight wheel off / caliper off / e-brake off / 4 bolts holding hub off - but I still couldn't get the hubs off... I PB blasted it and everything... Is there a trick to getting them to come off or is it just rusted together? Its a 98 with 181k.... Please help - Thanks.

U need to use the BFH (Big F-ing Hammer)and they should come out, there is nothing else after the four bolts to hold them in

I can't comment on the rear hubs because I've never done em, but I used a BFH on the front ones and it worked nicely. smile

Good luck figuring it out.

My originals are still on too I'd say BFH should work.

People around these parts use a chisel hammer with there air compressors. I had to cut one of my front hubs ones off using a torch!

Part of the fun living in the rust belt!

It isn't often that something actually says "No" to the BFH; glad it worked out for you.
