i tinted my tails today THEY LOOK AMAZING !!! i had to keep adding black to the clear to get it how i wanted, because otherwise it would have taken me about 30 coats to get it how i wanted with the amount i had, also there was 2 or so runs in the light they were flat but since i was messing with the color amount i accidently ran the lights, no big deal you cant tell so much, they are still sitten in the booth as i type this, i will get pictures tomaorw so everyone can see them,
note: they are some eye candy !!! lol i love them

yeah i got yours, and WOW THEY WERE DULL sorry to say, i have yours in my car now because i want myn to sit over night to harden for shure, i will have to spend some time sanding to get all the old color off of yours, did you know one was kinda cracked as well at the top? looks like it was there and tinted over, do you want me to do the same ? also you have some bad delamination, i will sand and try to tint and cover it all up.

Prices! and pics! I been wanting mine touched up , since I have delamination, nothing elese. No moisture. I just don't want to buy new ones when I can cover these up with something and look good.

im unshure about prices at the moment because ordonez sent me them as loaners until myn were done and for doing that i said i would redo his, its almost to the point were i will work for car performance parts lol the only reason why i got to do myn today is because i had a free day at school and the booth was open, otherwise i have to wait and do this at my parents house which means longer turn around time and more dirt in the paint but i do the best i can. trust me im going to get pics up asap!!!

Yeah, i know. They are crappy. The clear never came out very good, and the florida sun faded them.
I had already sanded them a bit before i gave them to you, so that explains why they are even more dull than they were on the car.
And dont worry about the crack, its pretty small, and its been there for years.
Thanks man

1. remove tail lights 2. wetsand with 500G paper 3. let dry and clean with PPG DX103 cleaner 4. mask off 5. PPG clear 2021 mixed accordingly 6. add basecoat black i just played my ear how much 7. clean again with DX103 8. spray one coat 9. wait 10. Spray again repeat until color you want.
11. 3 coats of untinted clear 12. let dry

its like an anti static cleaner / degreaser
you cant use standered degreaser because it soaks into the plastic and ruins when you paint

idk what to charge yet, i would need to figure that out, i dont know how to stop the delamination, i guess i could put silicone or something into the edge to keep from water getting into there
