OK, latest update. The engine is practically put together. The A/C compressor and starter are still off, but the top is reassembled. All I like is torquing the dampener bolt and changing the oil pan gasket. At that point, its time to yank my old engine and swap in this one.

It might get finished some day. smile

That looks really great Rook. Can't wait to see the beast thumping under the hood. I know it probably makes you cringe to think of spending any more money, but you might want to beef up that tranny a little. Consider a 2500 stall converter, hardened 4th clutch shaft, etc. Just a thought.

It's kinda hard to find pink high temp paint. Anyway, I needed some red to go with my wires.
