Analog to Digital DIC (Working, With Issues, HELP!)

I have looked on here for a good write-up but don't seem to have one. Anyone able to assist ? Where can i look behind my dash for this wonderful connector that means i don't have to splice wires.

If you have the connector, it would be wrapped in foam like this: Topic: Digital DIC plug If memory serves, 99+ don't have it, so be sure to get it, and plan on splicing wires.

Oh well I have an 01' so i'm not going to hold my breath on this one. I'm not worried about splicing wires I just have to look into what ones and make sure i get it right.

If you don't its not that bad compared to the HUD. I have done both. Just follow those instructions and you will be fine.

Bump. So i have all the similar wires hooked up and i'm stuck on a few parts and can use some insight on what to do next. Taken from automotiveforums.com : http://www.automotiveforums.com/vbulletin/showthread.php?t=765080 I need to know where this "Data Line" is , the VSS Signal , B+ , and the lights signal are. Also, my speedo and tach have completely stopped working and my gas gauge (which is full as i just put $45 bucks in) is plummeted to the bottom of the dial.

K so I don't know what else to do. Besides hooking up the data line, i got the VSS done, my aftermarket deck has lables on the wires going out of the harness , i needed "constant" which i found and ignition which i found and hooked up accordingly and STILL it does not turn on, my tach and speedo are dead as well as my gas gauge. I dont get it.

You should be able to follow these instructions. They tell you what plug and pin goes to where. http://www.clubgp.com/newforum/tm.asp?m=3595319&appid=&p=&mpage Make sure all plugs are pushed in tight.

Follow the pin lay out in the link that was provided by theone2043. I followed that one as well when I did mine and my digital DIC works great. Let us know if you need anymore help.

I dont get it. I'm not very familiar with this but is there a fuse by chance that could have been blown by you messing w/ the wires? Could possibly explain why its not turning on..
