Rofl thanks guys and ya i've ran the car and everything and it doens't turn on lol. I'm loving the way the car is shifting with the battery being disconnected for 30+ minutes haha

K so referring to the ClubGP DIC plug reference sheet i'm stuck on one wire. The LIGHT BLU ENG/METRIC wire , it says it needs to be hooked up to an HUD wire, i don't have a HUD, but there is a LIGHT BLU wire on the back of my instrument panel, same set of wires where my VSS wire is connected.

What do I do?

Update. Got it all hooked up minus the light blu cord .. the 3 side buttons plus TRAC light up and dim when dimmed, but the actual screen is extremely dim. Also my speedo / tach / gas gauge are still on the fritz.

I replaced the DIC fuse with a new 10A one and its still doing it. What next ...

Anyone ? I'm gonna try and see whats up today again..

So over the last day or so I made the switch to the digital DIC. Numerous write ups across other GP forums and they're extremely inconsistant. I found the one on ClubGP to be the best. The link that was provided in this thread.

Not too sure what went wrong in the swap but my Gas Gauge, Tach and Speedo are NOT functioning , still, and the milage ticker has stopped and the odomoter isn't turning forward either.

On the other hand the DIC is working flawlessly telling me a LOW oil life(need a change) mileage in MPG and L/100KM , fuel used, ETC.

What would have caused this to happen ? It would be nice to know how much gas i have and how fast i'm going. Just sayin

I would disconnect and reconnect the plug on the back of the cluster. Also double check the pins on the plugs are going to the correct location.

The light blue wire that goes to the hud just tape off, it doesn't need to be connected.

Ok I'll give that a try, and again I'll go over all the wiring and make sure the connections are tight and taped well, i hope its nothing serious ! The Light blu wire is infact taped off.

I know the one day I was finishing installing the HUD and I didn't have the one plug pushed in and it kept making my gas gauge fluctuate. Pushed it in and it was fine.

Which plug are you talking about on the cluster ? They don't seem to plugged in they're on there pretty good.

What is he referring to. Should I have tapped into this "VSS" wire differently than splicing other wires ? I'll check fuses now.

There is probably a white plug and a black plug behind the speedo. Make sure they are connected.

K I didn't do that but rather cut the cord, remove the casing exposing the wires then twisting the original wire back together and joining in the DIC VSS cable.

Just make sure its tight and nothing is loose. I know when I did it I didn't have to cut the main wire I was able to strip the jacket just like in the pics. Did you solder the connections or tape off?
