your gas mileage all depends on how you drive .. if you have a heavy foot it could be less ... and how much city driving and how much highway driving you do ... idk i do quite a bit of highway driving and on a good trip i will ave 21mpg

I average 20 for my commuting which is 50% freeway and the rest stop and go in town.

I've never really checked mine commuting or intown...when I take a hi-way trip I figure if it does good then it must be doing ok around town. On the road I usually cruise around 70mph and get between 26-27mpg...given the performance and room the car has I'm very satisfied with that.

26-27 isnt really lucky, thats pretty average, maybe just a bit above. a decent tune, good maintenance (tire pressure, plugs, wires, etc) can net you that

With my little 3.1, doing half highway and half stop, sit, go two feet, stop... I get around 26. It will get up to 29 or so with a bottle of Lucas Upper Cylinder.

Now that I have the CAI and the U-bend gone, my commute is getting me right around 22-23mpg, which is 17 miles at 70mph and then 3 miles of stop/go/stop/go traffic. Each way. And it's been fairly consistent.

I ran a bottle of Chevron injector cleaner through it a couple of tanks ago, and last weekend I CRC cleaned the MAF, but neither one of those things did much except give me a smoother idle.

I guess my injectors and MAF were clean enough anyway. But one thing for sure, it didn't hurt, and now I can forget about those two things for a little while.

Stop and go bumper-to-bumper traffic on my old commute before I moved out to the sticks was right around 17-18mpg. That was kind of disappointing, but I'm much happier now. And I've been reading this forum long enough to get some slick tricks and tips, too.

Completely stock, I get 17-18.5 city (don't do much highway), depending on how many ricers I meet, or how many slow idiots I need to pass (but then again, that's the same thing, right? laugh )

I actually got about 19 when I was using regular unleaded...lol
