its a 2001 grand prix se kelly blue book says i could get 5,700 with excellent condition. I have rust on the rockers unfortunatly and that is the only real problem. how much do you guys think i shuld try to get sell it for? I have tinted tails chrome grills and 30% tint all around

You won't get anywhere near 5,700 for it. I traded mine in for 5000 but I had an 02 GT. I would look for 2-3k maybe if your lucky. Since rust is present kinda knocks down price and chrome grilles w/ tinted tails may only decrease the value. Tint may help but not much at all.

How many miles on this SE?

I was thinking the same thing but was looking for at least 4k for it.. It has 92000 miles on it

I just don't think you will get even that kinda money for it.

i traded my 02 se in with 88000 miles for my current car i got 5k on trade in. youll never get what you want selling privately. best bet is trading in for something else. make sure u switch everything back to stock. leave the windows tinted though.

2 years ago. just go take it in for a trade and see what they give u.

Rust on the rockers is something that would keep my from buying any car.

You may not get what you want but you'll get more from a private sale vice trade in.

All comes down to how fast to you want it gone.

But ya rust on the rockers if I was in the market I'd lowball the snot out of the car and walk away if seller didn't agree to my lowball.


Side note:
Mine is corroded pretty bad on the underside and as a result when it comes time for a new car I'm just gonna trade it in rather then private sale.

I sold my 97 gt with 145k miles and the rocker were trashed. Sold it to a friend for $1000. Might be buying it back for a winter beater for $800 if I can get him to sell it back for that low since the exhaust is hanging and they destroyed the interior even more. And they only put about 1000 miles on it lol.
