Hi,

I've got a 98 Grand Prix Se, I notice that when I have my headlights on at night, you can barely see any light on the road when driving, but you do notice that the distance of the light is good when you see the reflection off of signs that are far away. It's almost as if you'd need tilt the bulbs or something to focus more light on the road infront is this possible and is what I'm seeing normal with this kind of car?

grand prix lights are not very good period, but if you feel you need more light in front of you rather than at a distance, just adjust them down some.

pull on to a level surface with a wall or something in front of you and adjust them to where you want them.

Do you use your foglights? I use them to help light up the road in front and they do make a big difference. Maybe your fogs are a little out of adjustment.

GP lights suck. Follow Snowcrash's instructions and it will make a huge difference. I know of a couple peple on here that will vouch for this.

I have no complaints with the GP's lights. Maybe mine were adjusted by the previous owner. They are way better than the headlights on the GA. I couldn't see for s*it at night. The passanger side light keeps going out of adjustment.

It took me awhile to get mine adjusted, once I got them dialed in they work pretty good. It's just real hard to get them dialed in once they are out of adjustments.
I bought new lense assy's so mine where about as far out of adjustment as you could get.

Yes mine sucked when I first got my car. But after realigning and swapping the bulbs for the silver stars it made a small improvement. However I still am not happy with the lights. The lowbeams on my 98 Silverado put out twice the light that the highbeams on the GTP do!!
