After a heavy rain the floor of the front passanger seat is soaked. It's like the water is coming in from under the hood?
Anyone know of a good cheap fix! darthvader

There is a seal that is letting this in, I think it is a gasket around the windshield............cant remember the exact name of it.

You have to remove the cowl (plastic between windshield and hood) and you'll see a vent on the passenger side. Get some glue and reglue the rubber seal around it. Depending on the year you might have to remove both wipers as some cowls are one piece while others are two piece. Wipers are held on with C clips at the base of the wiper arm. Very easy fix.

Hello,

There are 3 causes of the floorboard flooding...

1. Sunroof drain plugged....If you've got a sunroof with a drain tube, make sure the drain tube is not plugged.
2. Windshield seal....Fix is mentioned above.
3. Plugged condensation drain on the HVAC. This usually shows during the warmer months and the condensation from the AC floods the blower motor housing. The outlet is located behind the PS pump in the engine bay....A small rubber Ell coming out of the firewall.
