Ok, I live out in the middle of nowhere so I bought a 20db signal amplifier. I installed it connected the power to my fuse box. It comes on but when I turn the power on it actually makes the stations worse. It is off the signals are the same as before. What’s up with this? Does anyone have any ideas?

Did you put it next to the fuse box under the hood? The underhood fuse box is right next to the alternator which puts out a lot of electrogagnetic waves. Try mounting it in the trunk where the antenna is.

I mounted it inside of my glove box, so I can utilize the on off switch. The power is run to the fuse box right next to it.

GP's with the rear window antenna already have a signal amplifier between the antenna and the radio. Adding another amp does nothing or worse.
