OK guys and gals. I have a 03 Redfire Metallic 4 dr GP. My bud owns a bodyshop and we are going to work a deal come summer time. I will do odds and ends around the shop for a few weeks and he will paint my car. I bet I will mostly be doing parts runs, detailing, taping, cleaning etc. but that is fine with me. I want to stay with the redfire but want to make it custom. I was thinking about doing a silver bottom like a lot of Monte Carlo SS cars, or do silver from the bottom of the car up to the door mouldings. Chime in what color and idea you have. Nothing crazy here, no stripes, no flames, just basic two tone and a color that goes with the Redfire. http://www.idcow.net/idcow/products/ss2006.jpg http://picasaweb.google.com/72chevman/CarStuff

How about to the top of the lower mouldings all the way around. May I wish something looked good with red, maybe black?

I think red and black would look pretty good. with possibly a really thin white pinstripe between the black and red.

did you resize the front wheel cause it looks too big.
And I'm going to say I like the silver on the rocker panes up to the lower moldin of the doors.
If I get back on my desktop tonight instead of the laptop, I'll make some pics with black 2-tone.
Thing is, i's hard to tell with the black because the bottom is so dark to being with because f the shadows.

Paint it white or silver where you see the 2 tone (you can go straight threw door handles if you wish) and be sure to paint the trunk lid, hood, and roof of the car white/silver as well and then on the hood. Just 2tone the roof/hood/and trunk lid along with the sides like you see in the picture and the top of your car will be silver and bottom majority portion red, i think it'll look beautiful and very unique and make sure to get some small striping in between the silver/white and red of the car (like you see the black pinstripeing in the photo) so it'll look even better.

red and black one but then you would have to get some black wheels because silver won't look to good with a red and black paint job.
