I have noticed while opening the passenger door it rubs a little on the front quarter panel. There is about a 3 inch rub mark on the edge of my quarter panel. My repair manual states that an adjustment on the door requires the passenger wheel be taken off. I don't want to do that much work to fix this small of a problem. Anyone have an easier way to do this?

withstupid Also, you didn't get into an accident that pushed it up did you? Just remove the wheel, loosen the bolts slide forward a hair and tighten back up, should be fixed

No it's just a pain. Thanks for all the "help". No the car was never in an accident.

Sounds like you're not too concerned with the rubbing if you dont want to take the wheel off to fix it.

i'm sorry but this bugs me...if its the front "quarter panel" you have one strange GP... its a fender... fenders=bolted on/Quarter panels=welded...just to clarify that. and as far as taking the tire off...you might be able to loosen all the bolts and slide it forward but it would be easier to take the tire off. and check your door gaps, if their not consistent on the front and back side then you might wanna adjust the door and not the fender.

Sorry for my bad vocab. My repair manual is telling me to adjust the door while it looks like you guys are telling me its the fender. I'll take a look at the gaps and figure out which one I gotta do. As for complaining about taking the tire off, I'm a beginner, I'm only 16 and this is my first car so taking the tire off a car is not something I've done many times before. Of course it is good practice. Thanks for the help.
