im looking at getting a set of the TSW VOLCANO 17x70 5/114 ET40 ...hyperblack with a chrome lip...my question is will they fit properly on my car or not because of the 114 bolt pattern...thanks guys!

i thought so too, but when i put in the info of my car, they didnt come up as ones that fit...

If they fit the last gen of mustangs they'll work.

That 114 will not work with your car, we have 5/115. the 5/114 will get on there but when you hit a bump your going to bend the bolt. 5/114 and 5/115 are such a slight difference but I can tell you from experience from a guy i talked to that you will screw up your bolts on your car. try and find 5/115 bolt pattern ones, and it is kindof difficult considering not many cars have that bolt pattern. The most common is the 5/114.3 which is what the mustangs, and those style cars have. but again...5/115. lol

While I've never heard of anyone mounting 5X114's.
I have heard of several cars successfully mounting 5X114.3's.

Jon is right, our bolt pattern is 5X115, but being able to use the 5X114.3 opens up a whole lotta doors. Some people experience a vibration with the 114.3, but have corrected it with Hub Centric rings.

Now the only variable you have to ask is.... "Will the backspacing work?"...

Those are pretty cool looking rims. I dont think 114x5 will work out well for you. Maybe these ones will be to your liking, plus they're the proper fit too.

brown, its funny you post those...i was looking at the same rims from tirerack.com yesterday!lol...i think i might just get the new gxp rims (10 spoke polished aluminum)...im not really sure...i love the black and chrome look, but its so hard to find nice ones...thanks everyone for your input...i guess ill just keep looking for the 115 or 114.3...
