I searched back in some posts dating 2004-2005 and saw some posts about running some 15" rims with some drag radials. I definitely think I need some wheels for the track considering my horrible times (which I will post soon). If I can't find some 15" (if they will work) I guess I will go with some 16". I was also looking at the NT 555drs. What are some other setups I should look at?
I spun a little on the first run. Dogged the crap out of the launch on second run trying to figure how to rolling the throttle. And the third run I just mashed it. I ran 27psi in front tires and had the rears at a DD 35 psi. 12-1300 rpm brake launch, around water box, slight wheel clean before stage. I felt terrible that night there.

have you tried dropping the tire pressure in your street tires in order to hook better? I have to lower mine in the range of 20-25 psi, which I still spin but not as bad. 2.0 60 foots can be had with street tires so that's probably not your main issue.

Yah I dropped to 27 I think was the lowest on the night. My best 60' was like 2.29xx I will post time slips tomorrow, but I thought I would be much lower in ET but I think those 60's are killing me. I feel slow!! I am making a basket each day over at ZZP till I finally click the left mouse button to order! I am going to try and Dyno soon to see my numbers before I hit the track and buy more mods to get a read out before and after my net endeavor. At the closest track to me I get like one run in every 45-1 hour so there isn't much for practice. I tried three different launch techniques with no luck. So I don't know.

I was running 2.09 60 foots at the track on Friday night (which isn't bad because I have the so called performance tires which are a very hard compound and they don't hook well). Try dropping your tire pressure some more even. Some other things to consider:

Traction control on or off?
Which gear do you put the car in?
What RPM does your car shift and do you hit the rev limiters at all?

your launch is deffinately the problem. drop the tire pressure down a bunch (20psi), make sure traction control is off. and launch in 3rd gear

Did all the good things except the tire pressure being even lower. I had it in 3rd. My buddy had the PowerTuner on two out of three runs. I am shifting above the rpms I have set usually. I think I hit like 6120 before a shift. We played around with the scans between 1st and second run. I just need to launch right. I just got D's rear mani in today and I am waiting a little bit to purchase the rest of the mess form ZZP. I want to Dyno this thing before I do some more work.

Dunno what happened on your second run.... Your whole time slip showed much slower times, but your trap speed was your PB....???? Yes it's possible to run a faster MPH with a bit slower ET, but 1/2 a second seems like something was array.
Speaking of trap speed...... At 95MPH you're a candidate for somewhere around 14.2 with a 2.0x 60 foot.

I pulled a grandpa in the second run. It was like slow speed rolling into it! Lol

I was running 2.0 60's all night last Friday and trapping at 94-95, but my ET's were 14.5's.

So it's possible... but not necessarily.

Well my tires are pretty worn. I think instead of buying some slicks or dr's I may just get some money together and throw some 235s on my stock rims that have 225s on them now.

IS that what you are running. I calculated it and 245s are .78xxxx of an inch wider. Will that look good and what kind of driving and riding difference will I feel and see besides better traction? What size 245/50 or 245/60 or 245/40?

Consider yourself a candidate for 14.2's..... There are other variables to take into consideration.
