I could have sworn they were bolted in, maybe it's just his F1 hood that's bolted.

Yes, mine is bolted. That's suck about your little problem. I was looking forward to see galaxy silver WS6 hood. I couldn't believe body shop didn't test it to put it on your car. Just paint it then put it on your car but it doesn't work out. Then you got screwed. Good luck and hopefully you will get problem solve.
