It's 79.99, and ZZ doesn't really tell anything about it. There was a Grand Prix at a track I went to with it, and I heard it made it big difference ( he couldn't race that day, cracked windshield).

So whats the pro's and con's? No one ever seems to mention it.

Thanks guys. cheers

It does increase clutch life because of the higher line pressures.

possible shorten the life of the servos. Not realy a necassary upgrade. Unless you wanna chirp your tires going into 2nd.

Hello,

I have Thrasher Stage 3 Shift Kit.
With stock PCM it's not very noticable.
With a reprogrammed PCM it can be very noticable.
The only parts in the tranny that you have to worry about with this mod are the output shafts.....these are vulnerable without the mod.
Outside the tranny, you are putting more strain on your CV's, and shortening the life on them.
I'm happy with the shift kit, and willing to deal with any drawbacks.
As with any modification, you are causing undue strain on SOMETHING.

I go along with both Herc and Crimpton here...any mod always adds some stress on the driveline if for nothing else increased power...but breakage usually comes from how we drive the car...anyone that races with any regularity will tell you "you gotta pay to play"...burnouts, wheel spinning full throttle launches and WOT blasting will break even the heavy duty stuff...but for everyday fun driving, stay away from the smoky tire cooking and the hard lauching on a daily basis and the hardware will last through a lot...and like Herc was saying, the quicker shifts will increase clutch life...and if you happen to get a tire chirp from 1st to second, that sounds like a cool side benefit to me (chirping isnt gonna cook near the rubber that spinning at launch will)
