I have the 5 spoke high polished wheels and i wanna know if i have to made a maintenance with a polish o something to keep looking good.

I don't know... I have 114,000 miles on my GTP now, and my HiPolished rims still look as good as they did when I bought the car. My secret is to just use a clay bar on them every once in a while, and to wax them as well. To be honest though, I haven't waxed them in a year or so because of laziness, but they still shine quite nicely...

The rims are clear coated, are they not? I would think a little wax know and then wouldn't hurt. My Typhoon rims were stripped of clear coat and now hand ploished with Mothers Al. polish as are the Motor home wheels.

Can the polish coat come off? I think mine is kinda falling apart.

On an Al wheel (S-10 wheels I have) when the clear coat started to come off, it looked like paint chipping. Then because of the salt and other things on the roads, the break in the clear turned white (oxidation?) Are your wheels breaking up in certain locations or just becomming dull? If your considering stripping the wheel and using Al polish to keep them up, be prepared to spend a "LOT" of time on them.
