Good luck getting it to look nice with all of the waves in our tails. That pic looks really good, though. Go for it.
The curves in our taillights are very hard to put any sort of vinyl on. If you haven't had any experience of putting on vinyls I wouldn't recommend it. If you do put the vinyl on make sure you do the following:
1. Clean the taillight very well using a non ammonia based cleaner.
2. Get a spray bottle with majority water with a few drops of baby shampoo (shake just a bit)
3. Undo the backing on the vinyl and lay the vinyl down softly onto the wet surface of the taillight and adjust so it fits on their perfect (apply any more water/baby shampoo that is needed for perfect fitment, dont allow to dry)
4. Once in position use a credit card or squeegee to remove the water/air bubbles. Make sure the vinyl is pushed up against the taillight to ensure that once it dries it will make contact with the taillight.
5. Allow to dry a bit and remove air/water bubbles that remain and you will have a nice vinyl placed.
Anyone that doesn't think this is right correct me if i'm wrong, I at least know this is what you do for glass vinyls...
