well i did buy a non drilled 180 t stat from ZZP but from what ive heard should i just go ahead and leave in the 195 stock cuz i live in MN and its snowing around here .... so any opinions i have a 2002 GTP

it won't really make much difference.
the 180 only takes about 1 minute longer to start blowing heat than the 195.
it's up to you really.

i have heard about KR building and dropping the temp is like a "safety net" for that though

Corey you dont know, you dont have a 180* in winter cause your in flordia! haha, but IMO dont worry about it, my friend is running a 160* durring the winter and his runs just fine, but it can wait till after winter too, no big deal.

It has gone down into the 30's here a few times, the GP doesn't appreciate it much, though.

I run with a non drilled 180° tstat during the winter and it's fine.

colder air means denser air so more can be shoved into a cylinder for the explosion. The fuel is also colder so more fuel too. The other benefit of colder air & fuel is it allows more timing as the cold air & fuel keep redetonation at a minimum. Look at NHRA records. Most are set in Feb-Mar or Oct-Nov when the air is cool. http://www.nhra.com/stats/natrecord.html
