does anybody know of any manual transmission would mount to our 3800s.
i know when people swap the 3800 s/c into the fieros, the use the getrag 5spd out of the fiero, but i don't think the tranny will mount in the gp

Getrag can't handle the torque of the L36, much less that L67.

The when used in the fiero the getrag can handle it somewhat because of the lighter weighted vehicle.

Bingo. Also, most Fieros don't go as far as us with mods. They're so light, a stock L67 will make them fly.

Sure, you can have any part concievable fabbed up by the right machine shop.

But it costs some SERIOUS dough.

While I don't doubt there are already some stronger internals for the Getrag, building one for our cars + our modding, you are looking at like $10,000 in custom parts.

Is having a 5spd in your GP really worth that much? And let's not forget the cost of the tranny itself, all the extra fabrication of mounts and such too.

That doesn't even bring the computer aspects into consideration. Our car relies on a lot of the tranny settings for other things. You'd have to program all of that out of it and find a way to get a speedo signal. Also, custom axles.
