Hi all, my car didnt come with a key fob so i was thinking i could buy one off ebay with the self programming instructions, but my queston is, did all 97-03 gp come with a key fob? if so for the people with a 2001 gt gp can you post a pic of one because i seen 2 different ones on ebay and i really need a key fob. i have the light on my dash board i popped it out and it has wires to the alarm bulb so i'm assuming mines came equipped with a key fob, but could be wrong.

No, because it depends on which Body Control Module is installed in the car:

Type 2 BCM: Power Locks
Type 3 BCM: Power Locks & Keyless Entry (RPO AUO)
Type 4 BCM: Power Locks, Keyless Entry & Factory Alarm (RPO UA6)

Your best bet would be to call the parts dept of your GM dealer, give them the year, make, model & last 8 digits of the VIN, and they can give you the part # for the key fob. Then you can buy one or two off Ebay, and program it/them...

well bad news, after talking to the stealership my 2001 gt doesnt not come with the transmitters for keyless entry, remote trunk pop, or alarm. with that being said is there any aftermarket pager remotes that are recommended? viper is too expensive, can do it.....
