on my 04 gtp there is a rubbery piece of small trim that covers an opening where your key remote door opener hangs down. What is the trim piece for. Is anyones loose and hanging off. Mine is.

Yes, mine is also loose. I've had to pick it up of the floor many times. It will not snap in place. And the key fob repeatedly taps it during driving which contributes to knocking it loose.

Better suggestions before I just glue it in place?

piece is designed to protect the dash and deaden the key noise. Glue it up...

makes sense - seems like the rubber looses is ability to hold its shape and tries to curl inward thereby pulling it away from the clips that were designed to hold it in place
