...but I'm irritated!! I have a 1999 Grand Prix GT, which I absolutely adore. Actually I nick-named "her" Boom-Boom. :-/ I was pretty excited this year when I went to the Pontiac dealership to get another one. Only to find out they're NOT MADE in 2-door anymore. I only have three letters to say about it, W.T.F. ? Does anyone know why they would do this? Which suit made that decision? mad

that decision was made in 02 I think. If Im not mistaken 02 was the last year for the GP Coupe. 03s were all 4 door as are 04s of course. If you want a 2 door you have to buy a Grand Am, GTO or Monte Carlo SS.

For the last 10+ years the market for Coupes has been pretty small. I guess coupes are seen more of a performance deal or 'younger kid" car (IE no family) so the GTO fits well as the high end coupe for the old performance nuts and the GA fits as the middle coupe and sunfire for the youngins.

Adding yet another coupe between them prob wasnt worth the cost in the bean counters' eyes. Im not saying its right or good, just giving an opinion. Personally I love my coupe and think it looks better than the 4 door.

It really is but I still need a four door. I need front wheel drive also(that's sad). Who has this car? Were anymore made besides that one? I wonder who's garage that thing is sitting in. It's deffinately hotter than the four door but it looks too much like the GTO for pontiac to make them. That's my guess.

Once I saw the original, I could see how the 2 door was photoshopped.
Anyone else notice that the 2 door has 3 seats on the drivers side?

That's a bonus feature of the 2-door.

Hahah i never noticed that but there are lil other things that show it to be a photoshop...either that or the gp was thought to be offered in 3 row seating?

The G6 is supposed to be comming with a 2 door model later. Another option is the goat. Even though it is more, you get more car for the money.

It all depends on your budget.
