I found a cargo net and a much smaller net (not sure what it's for) in the trunk of my GP. I see a few protrusions that could be mount points, but nothing I've tried seems functional so far. If anyone can explain how these are installed, I'd really appreciate it <>.

i have a small net that is for a small sector on the right side of the trunk. I dont have a cargo net but there should be 4 points to affix it to. its kinda pointless on teh 04 i think becuase of how the truck opens compared to a 97-03 isnt as opened so you had something to pack between maybe me but i dont use a cargo net on my new GP.

Ok like Zachd said the small net is for the opening on the right side of the trunk.. you put in the little door or the net.

As for the grocery net there is 4 hooks 2 on each side - top and bottom that the loops on the net hook into...it is hard to get the net in and out...I will try to get some pics posted tomorrow.

Jizz and Zach - Thanks, for your help - you guys are the best. The pics would be great. Hopefully the net turns out to be useful.

I use my net all the time. It does cover the trunk opening but you can push it down (it has elastic bands). Not sure how much it costs - GMGoodwrench.com does not list the 04 parts yet only the 02/03 accessories. It came with my car but I am not sure I would have bought one. Although I do use mine all the time.

I use it to hold those little things that I do not want flying around the trunk. Like right now I have a mini Box-O-Rags in it. The paper towels in a box.

I also have a 2x3x2 plastic bin with lid in the trunk to hold "dirty"/Wet items smile got it for a few $$ at Wal*Mart.

I can not figure out how to put that cargo net on yet. I see where it hooks into but it doesn't look right when I hook it up.
