Does anyone know if the GM Performance exhaust (#12498617) for the 97-02's will fit on the 04's. BTW I had no problem using Autotap on the car.

From what Ive read here on this list all the cat backs should fit the new 04 GP. Has anyone heard that GMPP exhaust or bought one? Im interested in putting it on my 00. but I dont want it to drone. Ive had enough of that noise.

I would reccomend getting the SLP "Loudmouth" exhaust. It sounds REALLY good and it's still street legal...

what about drone inside the car with the loudmouth system? Ive heard it can get pretty bad with many of the systems.

As I've seen in other posts... if you want a true musclecar, take the resonator out. Louder is better.

Removing the resonator will increase the sound at the exhaust exit ( I like that ), but it will also increase the interior drone. How much this bothers someone depends on their tolerence. The resonator is no restriction, so don't expect a performance increase from this mod.

Exactly, no performance increase... just loud. Loud is good!
