Hello,
I'll be picking up my Fusion Orange 04GTP WS6 monday. The one I bought comes with the Monsoon and XM. Does anyone have the XM option? If so how do you like it? Easy to use?
Also what are the magor difference in the New Gen V Supercharge verses the prior version?
Thanks Frank

While I don't have the OEM XM radio, I do have XM in my car and I love it.

As to the supercharger, at least from what I remember, the supercharger rotors are now coated with a different material which allows it to work more efficiently and generate less heat as a byproduct - which in turn = more power. The openings have also been reshaped and the inlet and outlet flow improved.

I'll try to find some specific numbers for you later.

Yes, for '04 it finally looks like the supercharger is a little more worth having. The horsepower is up to 260 now, and premium fuel is no longer required, even though it is recommended. From what I've gathered, GM is using almost a totally different Eaton model of supercharger, which is obviously more efficient.

I have the XM radio in my 2004. It takes about 20 to 30 minutes to setup. You have to leave the radio on for at least 20 minutes for the radio to receive the signal and locks it in. Is it worth it? For me, I feel its not worth it. You can pop in 6 cds and listen to what ever you want for free. The signal sometimes wonders. The only thing I like is the Nascar channel. Try it out for a month(you should have 3 months at n/c)

well it looks like XM was setup. I'm receiving stations. Went thru 50+ just on XM1 band. How many stations are there? Also When I pick the car up it had Black pinstripping. That was off in a hurry, too Halloween looking. Love the ride. The rear seat is not that bad. although my head just touches the roof (I'm 5'11 + Sunroof). No real issue.
