Ok I get that the GTP is the top level model (except this year is the GXP)...but what is exactly the difference in a GT, GT1 and a GT2?...is it just trim levels?...and what year and model got that tap-shift thing?...cuz I'm not really nuts about that...thanx in advance for the help.

I don't know about the different trims since I'm new to the GP scene but the tap-shift is an option from what I understand. I got my 04 GTP used and it doesn't have it.

I think the Tap Shift was on the GTP CompG only.

You are right Bill, the tap shift only comes with the 04-05 Comp G package. The GT, GT1, GT2 distinguish wheather they are SC'd or not.
