I have an 04 GP, with a cold air intake and high flow exhaust, I want to add a reprogramed PCM, I've seen diffrent articals stating you need a case learn procedure afterwards to eliminate the check engine light. while others say it's not needed, anyone know 1st hand if I would or not? Because I'm having trouble finding some to do it without reflashing to OEM defaults, Don't wanna spend the $ for no reason.

Any help would be great, thanks.

I also have a 04 Grand Prix GT. I have a K&N air intake and a high flow exhaust on my car. I installed the PCM sold by pfyc.com that is done by Digital Horsepower. I didn't have to do a case learn, only the security lean and there are step by step instructions that come with the unit. It is a great product! More power, better throttle response, and my K&N even sounds better.

Cool, did you have any prob before the PCM with tickin/knocking at low throttle? 20%-40%

I have that now, I'm hoping the PCM will fix that.

Thanks for the info...

I think I sometimes hear a little ticking noise. But, I didn't notice that until I put on the K&N intake system. I just figured it was because of the more air flow. I never noticed it before.
