2004 gtp started blowing the front directional bulb evertime I turn the directional on to make a turn. I replace the bulb and the driving light will come back on until I put the turn signal on then the bulb blows out again. What should I be looking for - sounds like a short but has anyone else had this problem???

sincerely
paul

a cheap thing you could try is replacing the relay, they usually don't go bad for a long time, but that is a possibility. other wise i would suggest looking over the fuses to make sure the right values are there and there isn't a prob with the one in it. if neither works to fix it then yeah its a short somewhere in the wiring. this is the first time i've herad of this happening in general not just with a GP.

I've heard of this once before, and I think it was in a old truck. I'm thinking it turned out to be something with the blinker being shorted out.
