Is a 04 GTO!

I will own one.... I have been brain washed!

A few things..

I understand now the GTO is not a Trans Am - nor was it supposed to be... It is like the GTO of the 60s was to the Tempest... the 04 GTO is like "any other car" just bad@$$!

It has an engine that has more mods than any other engine on the market today! I can mod the GTO to 750+ HP for very few $$ --- now that s not my motivation but I WILL OWN ONE SOON!

and By the way... anyone want a 04 5000 mile CompG for a good price? smile

Way to go!!!
I'd love to get a GTO.
I've been reading that alot of people don't care for the bland look of the GTO. I happen to be one of the few that like them. I turn my head everytime I see one.

Pics as soon as you get it!

Well I called GMAC Insurance (my car insurance company) and the lady said there will be a very little change per year if I trade out the GTP for the GTO smile -- So I will pay the same in insurance for a Vibe/GTO/GTP -- so getting older has some benifits smile

I hate insurance rates. My dad has a 98 Z28 with little over 9000 miles and due to insurance, I'm lucky I can even ride in it until im 25. No me gusta.

Off the subject..and about insurance rates....
I live in Texas, if you couldn't tell, and my parents and other family live in Missouri(@ Ft. Leonard Wood)(I knew you woulda asked Steve laugh ).
Full coverage (I'm 23) for my 99 SE here in Tex. is like 200-260 per month!!! But in Missouri, it is only @ 50 bucks. Soooooo, I live in Texas and have Missouri plates. I had my parents put the car in their name. And you don't have to get the car inspected every year either..so I go up once every year or so to get my paper work done.
Shhhhhhhh.... cheers

FYI Jizz, the Maryland State Police now have at least TWO unmarked GTOs in their fleet as chase cars. saw both with people pulled over on I=95 south this afternoon around 1:30pm between 695 and the JFK Tunnel. strobes, lights inside the car, and plain as can be.

Hey Jizz, if you get a GTO, you going to try for that "last 800 made" PULSE RED package?

I agree, blue. The red is an Auto (yuck for that kind of car) and silver sucks if you have to match it.

I like the Impluse blue better than the barbados blue, but its better than silver and to hell with the auto.

FYI, Bel air POntiac has 2 black, 2 indigo blue and one Red. (as of Monday) At least one of the black and one blue are 6 speeds. Only 45 min drive from Glen Burnie Jizz. Though its a MUCH smaller dealer than swanson or Anderson but its a shot if you want a different color.
