And for all you 6-speed fans; sorry I got the Auto - The only real thing my wife really wanted in the car -- and heck she let me get it

So it is a Torrid Red with the Anthracite (black) Interior. The Barberoihyerois Blue is really ugly up close. And the Silver did not do anything for me. I liked the Red and Yellow (at least on this car).

Is it fast?

It is hellafast! The Auto tranny pre-loads when you are at a stop... you can feel the rear pull down Man it is EVIL!

The first thing...hum, not sure- I know there is a Auto-Tranny mod out there for the sluggish kick down.. might start there. You know this is actually the LS6 motor with the LS1 heads/cam?.... So I figure a good start would be the heads and cam to get the car to the ZO6 HP range

I know people are saying the LS2 is much better but.. there are 1000s of cheap powerful mods for the LS1 right now. I figure if I like the car enough I will get the LS2 GTO later down the road.

And btw my son already calls it "the GOAT"

Yeah, the police are getting sneaky aren't they? I know the WA police over here has a fully tricked out WRX. I saw one the other day. It was lowered, had exhaust, aftermarket rims, body kit, huge wing spoiler, and what appeared to be illegal tints. I thought it was pulled over on the side of the freeway, until I realised, the WRX was the one with the strobes, and flashing red and blue lights

now THAT is entrapment.
