Wife gave the green light..I guess feeding the kids is important to her. This is my list or plan, is it enough? Anybody dyno this list before.

1 modular pulley 3.3
2. ZZP PCM
3. ss Intercooler
4. 3 inch down pipe
5. 1.9 rockers
6. t stat 180
7. plugs
8. bigger throttle body
9. spacer
10 shift kit.
I will not get a cam. I ordered the SD hood, its on the way...should be good for .000001 hp.

Always expect low numbers when getting dyno'd.

The only true way to find out if that'll get you to 300whp is to install it and get on the dyno.

I'm hoping to be at 240hp/280tq, at the wheel.

you need the exhaust work and I would just order pacesetters if I was you.... With than cam and intercooler you should be able to run a 3.2 at least if not a 3.0.... I know someone who is runnin a 3.0 with those mdos you have and tog headers... scan it and you should see how far down you can drop in pullies... he is also running with no intercooler so you have a huge advantage there... if you added pacesetters I see you make 320whp at least

If you get Headers get TOG, i read that the Pacesetters have bad welds...

I believe you'll get about 300hp or 320 with the intercooler.

im happy with the product...plus its got big primarys so theyll still work in the future with more intense mods

I think you'll probably need headers and a smaller pulley. 3.3" is small... but I don't think it'll put you in the 300 whp range.

I would definitely add a CAI/FWI, headers, and maybe...i dunno... a cam? Why do you not want to get a cam?

Well there is a point when you should draw the line. I would rather get a cam when I do the complete Motor and tranny, and its my wifes daily driver.

I guess after I dyno and quarter mile and check the MPG I will maybe add it...but when does it stop....
I must admit I am rather attached to that 300 whp and I think I will need it to get into the very very low 13.

Yeah... but realistically, 300 whp is so much more than you can really imagine to be cranking out. I mean... look at AustinGTP's mod list, and he's hoping for 240 whp. That's still a good amount of ground to be made up. Like he said, you have to expect low numbers. You're talking some pretty serious modding to hit 300. Definitely doable... but you're gonna either be all the way in, or all the way out.

If you're looking for as much HP as you can get without a cam, you should be looking at a fullsize IC... Much more efficient allowing you to run a smaller pulley.. Possibly 3" or smaller.

Pending on your altitude as what you will yield at the track. I can see low 13's being obtained with everything listed and a full sized IC at high altitudes. High 12's at Sea Level..... That's just my opinion.... There are too many variables to come up with definates.

Oh... BTW... If you don't already have a scanner, or tuning software, you should add that to your mod list.

Wheel torque(pullen to left or right?) I am not sure..but Torque will be about 390 ish. If I get near 300WHP.
The cams are cheap I think, but the cost of putting them in...Ouch gm said 10 hrs...100 bucks an hour....and with an intercooler I will be in the mid to high 300 whp. And of course that will bring a list of problems (Heavier foot)...When it comes to the WHP I am only making a guess using the Dyno runs and mods I have read on the internet. Time(dyno will tell) Man that Cam looks sexy...I can always blame the wife on the tranny.... smile

well if you dont want a cam and you want 300 whp... go with a turbo setup... it will be easier and it does not appear money is a huge problem with you either... I am savin for a turbo kit right now... may take a while but I will make my goal of 320whp or a low 12 sec car I dont know which I will blow my cash on first lol

Yeah, 100 bucks an hour is really bad...There's a couple mechanic shops in town for me, one charges 40 an hour, the other 60. Try looking around some more.

Yeah and if you find a small performance shop, most of those guys want work and will do it for cheap. The guys I go to do work for $20-30/hour... its tight, and they are good, honest people that know what they're doing. Keep looking, never pay the dealer to do stuff like that.
