Crap, I forgot about it too. I'm sure it'll be all over the news when it happens.

well, according to some folks out there, it may not be all that bad. Read this . We'll definitely see tomorrow at Noon CST for the removal and 7 PM for the unveiling. We'll see.

well, the ppl were ALMOST right about the engine being obsolete: we have mass marketed hybrid, electric, and propane vehicles now. Almost.

ok while reading some more i found out what they burried with the car Also buried with it were 10 gallons of gasoline — in case internal combustion engines became obsolete by 2007 — a case of beer, and the contents of a typical woman's handbag placed in the glove compartment: 14 bobby pins, a bottle of tranquilizers, a lipstick, a pack of gum, tissues, a pack of cigarettes, matches and $2.43. my question is whats up with the tranquilizers???

I am watching a few seconds here and there, can't get the video to completely download fast enough. Looks like it needs a pressure washing.

pressure washing? oh nnoooooo, dont do that, whatever's left of teh car will end up in the drain. Found it funny that the fuel survived, but the gas tank didnt. Any word on the oil? did that survive?

ya know, I was thinkin that, too. Like dual vaults. The interior vault should be on some good progressive rate springs, and the exterior vault having a drainage system. How would they keep the vault dessicated so that ambient humidity doesnt end up destroying the car? Dunno. Thats why smart ppl get paid lots of money. But you are right, Bobby. They SHOULD do it again.

well from watching one of those vids ... i got wind that in 1998 they buried a plymouth prowler in one of there parks .. haha this time they pressurized the vault and weled it tight... so i guess we got to wait about 40 more years till that comes out
