man i will never go to pick up a game i have preordered at midnight again not becuase it wasn't fun but because this game had the highest amount of preorders every in video game history. and since i work at the game store i purchase all of my games from when i went up there to pick it up i got talked into working until 1 am now im at my second job at a nice eairly 7:30 am. but i have to say the graphics for the game are amazing. i played last night until i got my first achievment which took about 10 mins then i went to sleep so later today i might have some more to say about the game.

It looks amazing...halo 1 was the best and halo 2 was close behind.....i have a feeling halo3 is going to make both of those look like n64 games

i played for a little bit more multiplayer last night the maps are quite fun but the ones we played on were a little to big for the 5 person party we had going on.

So I got the last copy of the Collector's Edition at Walmart this morning. I got to play for a grand total of a little over an hour before the 360 started bugging out ..

ouch that sucks well at least you got one of the good copies of the collectors edition a ton shipped defective. here in a couple of weeks im getting an elite with the new processor if your system isn't back by then ill let you borrow mine until it comes back. unless they do some awsome trade in special with the new elite.

LOL the Toys R Us my wife is the lead HR for only had 12 copies of Halo 3 for their store. Ohh and they only recieve 15 WIIs a month. The PS3s they cant sell the same boxes have been on the shelf forever and the 360s sell about 2 a week.

Have an the regualr XBOX, mine is Modded, oh yah! I lost fun in video gaming at age like 15, now 23.

I beat it at like 1:30 this morning.

Right now, I'm fairly disappointed with it but I think that will fade once I start playing it again on harder difficulties and start searching for easter eggs and crap.

HOWEVER, I am thoroughly upset with the complete lack of level exploration. In Halo 2, every map was a playground for me, especially New Mombasa. I could scale that map better than SpiderMan himself could.

But in Halo 3, There is absoolutely NO exploration. You go from Point A to Point B with little to no room for exploration.

It's just so linear.

Yup, I noticed that, wont let you climb or anything, like an invisible ceiling...
