German cars are nothing to take lightly. They make some of the best quality and best performance cars. VW owns Bugatti, Audi owns Lambo, then theres Mercedes, BMW, Porsche. They all make fast cars, not so much fast SUVs but the Porsche Cayenne Turbo would probably beat you. Both have V8's, both have AWD and similar towing capacities (the porsche can actually tow more). Granted the porsche does cost $50,000 more, so you could buy 2 TBSS's for the price of one Cayenne, but the Porsche would beat you. (Assuming that both drivers were of similar skill level and knew the area that you're racing in)

German cars can be faster, stronger, and of better quality than American cars, but to do so they rape your wallet.

TBSS has more interior room, but less towing capacity...

Very impressive for a 5000lb suv and the potential for the 6 ltre is great ,is that a cast block with aluminum heads? My oldest daughter bought an06 Tahoe with the 6 ltre and it feels strong though not as tourcey down low as my Titan though the 5spd in the Titan may be the difference ,and I hear you on the GTO vs Lightening .Chico.

Yes the porch is a nice vehicle but, my truck can out 0-60 the Porch and for 1/3 the cost.

But over all it is pretty cool that you have to pick a $90K SUV to compete with the Lowly TBSS smile

There is already one running mid-low 11s on Headers,Stall and a 150 shot.

And a few guys are in the process of doing Superchargers or Turbos.

Should be interesting.

Yes this is the Vette 6.0L - all aluminum

Wow, that's really fast. I ran a Ford Lightning in my Talon at the track, and he ran a 14.1 and probably weighed quite a bit less than you. That's very impressive for that truck...

I want one!
