I had just replaced my spark plugs (finally got the boots off and got em all replaced, took my sub box out early that day). I decided I'd take my car for a spin to see how things are and the plugs helped tremendously, it gets up and goes now like never before. Anyhow onto the race story, i saw a Cadillac car (not exactly sure what it was) but he told me he had a northstar v8 under the hood (I presume all cady's have that?)...it was an older 4dr sedan. We got going around 30mph and he honked and he started before i did and took off a bit and i floored it and started pulling ahead of him quickly and ended up beating him by a half of a car length and he couldnt keep up and i hit my speed limiter but by then he was on his brakes. I'm not sure if maybe there was something wrong with his caddy but should those results of happened?

those old caddys are heavy. But some of the n*'s can get moving pretty good. I got whooped by one in the GP, but that had an exhaust and probably more

Why would you say an STS ? FYI the STS is the performance model and puts out 300hp ,so it probably was'nt a STS!My wife drives a 97 STS and I'm sure it would do a fly by on a GT on top end they are geared High(2.73-1) so they do'nt do great on the bottom end.Chico(pops)

Well I have heard that the car needs to be tuned up and what not. I'm sure if it was in great running condition he woulda had me.

I didn't mean to get you upset chico. I figured thats what it was because he didn't know what caddy it was so I figure it had to be between a deville or a seville sts. My friend dad has a 99 STS.
