palsut, just to see if that can be duplicated, you should volunteer your SE for the dozer challenge. NO way would anyone do that to a GT or GTP, but an SE, nobody likes those, lol.

hey palsut, this is a very good example for you to switch over to that 3800, they are unstoppable! now 3100's on the other hand, i changed the intake gaskets twice on my cutlass, i hate that motor.

lol very funny jarbur. My summer car is gt/gtp look so I'm safe wink

yeah yeah yeah.... but over 20 years of making 3800 engine. If it is best engine that GM makes. Why it is die couple month ago? It is safe to say I'm not going swap them. Lot of $$$ and work to do. My intake was replaced once in 76K. This local chevy guy told me it is usually happen around 40K miles. He is surprise mine last longer. I told him I changed lot of oil every 3,000 miles. He says that's probably why you treat engine very good. If it is fail again then I can replace it myself. I think it is should be easy job?

This guy crush this car by dozer. The engine is really dead. All he use battery and wire crap all over this engine. :p
