I'm looking to trade my car, cause there a 97 Z28 camaro some guy from another forum is selling, but this car is 500 miles from here.
A friend of mine is interested in my GP but he hasn't had the money, but i want to know your opinions on the Lt1, to see if it worth to continue the effort.

heres the car, is an Lt1

He will take off this wheels

It has this stuff hope you know what it is:

Short headers BBK
Flowmasters 80
160 Tstat
Fan control SLP
Blistein struts
Energy suspention bushings
Subframe connectors
Strut tower brace
Goodyear cooling system hoses
Moroso CAI

Some guys from the forum say it is in very good shape with 73k miles

Is just a Maybe by now

It's a sweet car. I know some people who have owned LT1's without many problems.

LT1 is a good motor.

If the price is right grab it.

That looks good! That would be tough to pass up a V8 LT1 if the price is right.

Nice car, I'd do it if I were you. You've had your share of issues with the GP.

I am a huge F-body fan, so you know my vote is to go for the Camaro. There are tons of aftermarket parts out there for camaro's as well. Oh, and the LT1 is a great motor, just watch the temperature, but agiain, w/ the fan switches, and the 160 t-stat, you should be ok. F-bodys do run hotter than normal though. My trans am ran at about an average of 210 degrees constantly.

My cousin has a 02 camaro SS with the 2 exhaust in the middle and his LT1 is a monster after he installed some mods specially the cam and it sounds real nice.

Overall its a good engine and my cousin never complained to me about it and it has 120,000 miles as of now.

LT1s run on the warm side. Nothing wrong just the way they are.

I'd be after a V8 camaro just like that if it wasn't for insurance (I'm only 19) and gas prices...eek. That's a slick looking car man, I'd have to say go for it.

I'm looking at firebirds and v6 camaros, as well as GP's as my next car. I need to make a move soon. I'm sure I'll get flamed for looking at v6 camaros and firebirds, but oh well. At least they're RWD wink
