I'm looking to trade my car, cause there a 97 Z28 camaro some guy from another forum is selling, but this car is 500 miles from here. A friend of mine is interested in my GP but he hasn't had the money, but i want to know your opinions on the Lt1, to see if it worth to continue the effort. heres the car, is an Lt1 He will take off this wheels It has this stuff hope you know what it is: Short headers BBK Flowmasters 80 160 Tstat Fan control SLP Blistein struts Energy suspention bushings Subframe connectors Strut tower brace Goodyear cooling system hoses Moroso CAI Some guys from the forum say it is in very good shape with 73k miles Is just a Maybe by now

At least its a Z28, I don't know too much about those cars but it sure looks nice!

It's a sweet car. I know some people who have owned LT1's without many problems.

That looks good! That would be tough to pass up a V8 LT1 if the price is right.

Nice car, I'd do it if I were you. You've had your share of issues with the GP.

I am a huge F-body fan, so you know my vote is to go for the Camaro. There are tons of aftermarket parts out there for camaro's as well. Oh, and the LT1 is a great motor, just watch the temperature, but agiain, w/ the fan switches, and the 160 t-stat, you should be ok. F-bodys do run hotter than normal though. My trans am ran at about an average of 210 degrees constantly.

My cousin has a 02 camaro SS with the 2 exhaust in the middle and his LT1 is a monster after he installed some mods specially the cam and it sounds real nice.
Overall its a good engine and my cousin never complained to me about it and it has 120,000 miles as of now.

The guy that was oing to buy my car didn't get the money so i'm still waiting. Hope this camaro is still there if it doesn't i'm keeping my GP.
