My cousin just bought a 2007 Grand Prix
regular 3800, cloth seats, no sun-roof
dual exhaust pipes, bright red, no scratches and a one owner car,
nice stock aluminum wheels with only
20k miles. It was GM certified at a
dealership. He paid 14k plus tax.
Does this seem like a good buy?

To me personally no but that's what Ive seen em at dealerships for but I know people have gotten them cheaper. Especially without leather that's a high price.

I mean there are so many nicer cars you can get for 14k out there. Ive seen a few c5's for around 13k dude but its all in preference and necessity I guess.

If your friend is happy it's a good buy.

20k on a three year old car. I wouldn't say he was bent over and I wouldn't say he got a deal.

Three years ago that car sold for roughly 25k.

14k could have gotten you a GTO. I saw a blue one around for that much.

KBB show nearly 16K. I would say it is fair price. I'm pretty sure he is looking for daily driving car. Not a sport car. I remember brand new car cost like $28-30K depend on model option.

Its okay but not a deal, I've seen some with 30k and was going between 10-11k.

Some people actually want a usable back seat.
