As soon as next year, the Daytona 500 will have a local start time of 5:00pm. This will allow the race to finish in prime time, that's at night!
Running at the Daytona were: 20 Chevrolets 14 Dodges 9 Fords
From 2007-2011, Sirius picks up the NASCAR satellite broadcast, taking it away from XM.
Fantasy standings... (don't hate me Herc) Hercman scored 551pts, 551 total(31%) Kurt Busch - 170 Dale Jr - 165 Kevin Harvick - 79 Micheal Waltrip - 52 John Andretti - 70
GTP Motorsports scored 668pts, 668 total (91%) Jeff Gordon - 180 Kasey Kahne - 97 Elliot Sadler - 130 Joe Nemechek - 124 Carl Edwards - 127
Herc had a good team, just ran into a bit of bad luck when 3/5 drivers had problems. I ended up with some good luck when I only lost 1 driver to a wreck.

When I heard the break down, I thought "wow, Ford has the lowest number of cars in the Daytona?" Salary cap...
