There were a lot of broken windows left by the hail storm, luckily so far the only thing we noticed was the wife's car got beat up pretty good. I've got to get my insurance to come out and check out my roof. I've been wanting to get a new roof for a while. It looks like I'll finally be able to get that done.

I heard on the news this morning that a lot of people were pulling their cars out of their garages hoping to get enough damage to total their cars.
The thing about hail damage is it's hard to tell the difference between hail damage and damage caused by a ball-peen hammer.

So you guys got hit harder than we did, huh? Last night, around 7 PM, I heard the radio announce that a tornado was about to hit the Nacogdoches area within the next half-hour. This entire region was under tornado watch(?) until 1 AM, but didnt need it. The storm was gone by 11 PM. We got a bunch of wind, guite a bit if rain, a light show complete with sound effects, and that's about it. The power didnt even flicker. I had seen that the line of storms went from Arkansas down to you in darn near a perfect diagonal, with the red portions closing quick on us.
Glad that you and yours faired well during the storm.

Sounds like I missed out on quite a bit...  Probably a good thing as my car was outside until 10:30'ish or so...

im a hundred miles away and all we got was rain and a little wind. im glad i didn't get hail all i have is a carport protecting my truck from nature.

I'm just glad that your all okay, like everyone says a car can be replaced but a person cannot. Living where Tornados are around that much I couldn't stand it, thatd freak me out.

when it comes to tornados i become a little girl i HATE THEM for the hail find a good PDR (paintless Dent Removal) like i said a good becase a not very good one you car can look worse than before
