Everybody please mind your Ps and Qs when it comes to the language you use on this board. I have had to edit too many threads this past week and quite frankly I'm getting tired of it. From now on I'll just delete the offending post.

You have been warned.

Essentially cussing in their posts. The moderators want this to be a clean, family oriented site.

I agree. There is no reason to curse here. We are all members of the same Pontiac family, and we can do things civilized.

this is an opportunity to explore the wide range and breadth of adjectives available to us in this amazing language we use called English (my high school teacher actually told us this when she heard a student curse...she said if you have to resort to cursing it shows your lack of word power)...every stand up comic in this country must have failed English according to her! lol lol

...and another has been deleted.
This time it was the first post of a thread and when the first post gets deleted, the entire thread gets deleted by default.

This forum has helped me with so many a problem I have had. Whether difficult or easy there has always been feedback. Lets keep moderators happy by being adults! With English the richest language on earth there should be no need for a cuss word! Be imaginative! If you don't know how, check out the great British comedies like Red Dwarf, Monty Python, A bit of Fry and Laurie, The Young Ones, Blackadder!!!!

Thanks for addressing this, guys.

I was ok with the cussing here/there but it becoming constant. I was more so getting annoyed with the attitudes and pointless bashing that came with the cussing. Someone would post a question.

Question: "I have this problem... Did I do something wrong?"
Answer: "You're just a spoiled sh******. If you had common sense, you'd..."

Don't put others down to bring yourself up. Find kicks in focusing on personal goals. You'd also get more help with your own goals/car issues as you will be respected more.

Hey, mods, I found some really good guidelines from

http://www.thirdgen.org/techboard/south-west-region/announcement-thirdgen-org-board-guidelines.html

mayhaps these are as all-encompassing as I think you're wanting?

A "dam" is something that holds back water, so "dam" would not be considered offensive.

but damn on the other hand. maybe, just maybe, yall mods can put together a list of forbidden words? Yeah, it MIGHT mean that this family-oriented website then is violating it's own rules (for the future betterment), but it delineate acceptable and not.

Just thinkin with the keyboard...
