Well i know this is a car site but i'm sure you guys can appreciate my hobby as it involves being a gear head laugh .. This is my drag banshee.. I started in september of 06 and finished it friday night.. We started it for the first time since it was converted to methanol at the track.. It was super rich but still managed to run 7.2X at 95mph.. I know it will be in the mid 6 range at 105-110mph within the next few weeks when we get the bottom end jetted right.. 60 foot times were terrible but the 330 was killing it! Anyways here is my first love finally finished!

Are those 1/4 mile or 1/8 mile times?

If they are 1/4 mile, that's unholy.

If they are 1/8 mile, that's still faster than I'd ever want to be on something liek that lol

I've seen snowmobiles at a drag strip before but never a quad. They were doing 150mph in the 1/4. That thing must be a blast to drive.

Thanks guys! They are 1/8th mile times.. It is deffinatly a wild ride.. It probably has 105-110hp and weighs in right at 300lbs so the power to weight ratio is wicked.. I had the tranny cut so you don't have to use the clutch to shift gears, you just hold it full throttle and kick gears.. As soon as i get a few issues worked out i will have a video of it when it busts into the 6's within the next couple weeks.. Anyways thanks guys!

UPDATE! Have been super busy and running the banshee alot!! Managed a 7.03 at 97mph in the 1/8th.. It's already the fastest fourwheeler to ever hit the track but it's soon to be the first to ever hit 6's here locally.. I think there isn't much more to do to it, so it's about time for a top end swap on the ol GP!!
