ok well i just got 2 kenwood 12's and i got them all hooked up, now my question is does it matter which way the subs are faceing?
and whats the diffrence between a sealed enclosure and a ported, which one is better?

the only thing i dont like about them is the weight of everything its so heavy!

but it sounds so much better!

Its a personal choice how you want your subs, play around with position and see what sounds better to you... there are benifits and down sides to both ported and sealed and bandpass boxes. Personally I like the sound of a sealed enclosure.

Sealed enclosure will result in more of a controlled, flat-response sound, which is a good thing most of the time. What kind of music are you gunna play through it?

I would point them away from you so point them to the back of the car that way the truck is also used as a sub box and the sound waves can bounce off the back and then come back that way youlll get the deep bass isnt stead of the bass that just pounds but doesnt rumble.
