Actually, the gecko with the funky lookin' tail, her tail was cut off. One of my half-sis's friends dropped that cave on it's tail and it FELL off! I was pissed, but fortunately it grew back! Although, it does look a little wierd, i'm happy she now has one, cause i've seen a couple pics of some geckos on another forum where they weren't as fortunate, and have NO tail at all!

I love geckos! I used to own a golden one several years back. It's amazing how fast they can move when they want to.

When I take them out, they are fine. They just climb all over me, not moving too fast, but as soon as you let them on the floor, they are liable to take off. It's funny to watch them run in an "S"-like motion.

R.S.: No it's not too squishy, then again, if I press to hard it might fall off again. ...I knew someone was gonna use a Geico joke, just didn't know who. 98 gtp girl: That is one cool looking lizard. Do you handle/play with it at all?

Next junk mail you get, take a pic where the legs are close, photochop it to have the legs tied up and make a ransome note and send it to gieco using their prepaid envolopes.

I've always liked snakes but I've never owned one. They seem like a lot of work to take care of, especially something like a python that keeps growing and needs a larger enclosure. Not to mention a steady diet of larger food.

zuul: Yes. They are really friendly. I picked him up the first day and he just crawled all over my arms and also got up to my head. LOL! I had a red-tailed boa constrictor once. That thing was awesome. We handled it here and there but not often enough. He ended up getting really MEAN! You would go to put a mouse in there, and the thing would go after your hand. They really stink if you don't keep the tank clean. Ours crapped really bad one time, so we just put the tank outside, unfortunaley we forgot he was outside on a 90* day (Prob over 130* in the tank) and it ended up dying. Even though he was MEAN, I still miss "Jake the snake"!!!

At first I thought some kid threw a fake lizard up there as a Halloween prank, then it started moving... Apparently it escaped from one of the neighborhood kids and climbed up there during the night. Despite the cold, she put up quite a fight when we tried to rescue her, but quickly adapted to her new role as "Shop's Mascot"... A short time later, my ex boss' son brought the iguana down to Florida..think that ungrateful reptile would send me a postcard?
